In week 23 webinar according to the master key lessons, we heard that it easier to become successful than it is to live in poverty. How can this be true?
It reminds me of a very famous Chinese proverb;
One evening an elderly Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside of most people’s mind. He said “my son, the battle is between two wolves inside all of us. One is evil-it is anger, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false, pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is good-it is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, kindness, compassion, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and Faith.
All the elements we’ve been practicing for the past 25 or so weeks.
The grandson after listening to his grandfather talking about the two wolves thought about it for a few moments and became curious, and then asked his grandfather “which wolf wins grandad?”
The grandfather simply replied, “The One You Feed.”
Most of us don’t live in poverty, it’s called something else? like… Middle Class, the ones striving for the other side. Most of the time I feed the other side but just like Mark J spoke about his success in last week 24 webinar when he was earning over twenty thousand dollars a month the cries for failure reminders were always there. Until he let go of his banana.
Can it be that simple as we’ve been hearing him and Daven speak about how he and she got to Kawaii and now living out their dream?
Just let go!
So far this is the best definition I’ve heard of success and I am grateful to know it now: That Progress is the only true measure of “success.”
Because when you get there whatever you think success is? you’re going to want more unless you let it go and be happy and grateful right now! Become a great Observer. And so I will!
